Telling time by the hour and half hour follows this information. Several pages are devoted to reading and writing the time on digital clocks. A section titled Time for Puppies and Kittens begins with puppies eating breakfast at 9:00 and follows both puppies and kittens through the day until it is time for bed at 8:00. Inserts of pictures of two clocks on most pages show how to write and say the indicated time. A Time for Activities page suggests keeping a log of your day and making a clock collage.
