The story is interesting, showing one young mans determination to become a dancer—specifically, a tap dancer. Glover is a famous performer of the day who began his road to stardom at a very young age. With family support and obvious talent, Glover has become such a success that he has appeared on television as well as in numerous shows and movies. He has even started his own dance company. His dream to get people excited about tap dancing seems to have come true. A table of contents, a timeline, definitions, and an index introduce elementary school readers to the fundamentals of informational texts that they will need to understand for their further educational research. Lots of colorful, action photos will engage readers. The book is well laid out and easy to follow, with simple text and plenty of white space.
