Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is the home of Kilauea, the world's most active volcano, and Mauna Loa, the most massive. Author Stephen Feinstein tells of the Hawaiian islands' geology, early Polynesian inhabitants and the legend of their volcano goddess, Pele, and the discovery of the area by explorer James Cook.
