Bewildered by fractions? Decimals? Percents? The twenty-eight sections in this book can be read individually or in conjunction with the others, depending on what the reader needs to study at the moment. The sections are concise (two pages each), and use straightforward language and pictures that should be easy for children to follow. The book does a good job providing context and practical uses for fractions, decimals, and percents. The book can be used with children who are just starting to learn about fractions, and also with children doing more advanced math, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing unlike fractions. The same is true with decimals. An index and places to go for further information are included at the back of the book.
